This isn't so much an update/news for Memories itself as it is an update in the development/deployment process. I've now found the extremely useful Itch.io tool known as "Butler".

I've seen and tried using this before but didn't really know what I was doing at the time but, recently I've be doing some training (for work) on command line tools and can see the very significant (for me) benefits of using Butler.

Previously, when an update for Memories was released, I would have to delete the whole game files from Itch and upload a brand new 300+MB file which takes time, espcially so considering there are 2 versions to upload; Windows and Android.

What Butler does however, is scans the files on Itch and compares them with the files I have locally on my machine, then, it simply uploads the new files only meaning the updates take FAR less time to upload as it doesn't need to upload the whole game again, just the updated files!

Anyway, that's all there really is to it. I'm still getting back into the swing of things in terms of Memories development but it's coming along fairly smoothly.
